Blue Springs is a fun nature experience that is only about 45 minutes from our home, unless you sit on the freeway for over an hour like we did because of an accident. Once there, however, we loved watching the Manatee, which during the colder months stay in the spring water. We also saw our first alligator in the wild, since Gator Land does not count. The kids loved swinging on the swings and climbing trees. The only thing that would have made our adventure better is if we had brought the canoe with us!
