Piano Recital - May 31, 2011

We had our spring piano recital on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. It was Kamren's very first recital, although you would never be able to guess it by the way he marched up on the stage and knocked his two songs out of the ballpark! Krisee and Kyle were stars as well! The following are clips of each of their performances!

Animal Kingdom - February 8, 2010

This was our second visit to Animal Kingdom but our first time taking guests....It was also our first time going on the Mt. Everest Roller Coaster, which everyone loved, queasy stomachs and all. We loved watching the "Nemo" and "Lion King" productions, and all but Kamren loved the 4-D "Bugs Life" movie. When the spiders came down from the ceiling, Kamren started freaking out! We loved going on the safari, and only had one casualty - Karter's binki flipped over the side of the truck. Bye-bye binkie! It was a great day!

Blue Springs - February 6, 2010

Blue Springs is a fun nature experience that is only about 45 minutes from our home, unless you sit on the freeway for over an hour like we did because of an accident. Once there, however, we loved watching the Manatee, which during the colder months stay in the spring water. We also saw our first alligator in the wild, since Gator Land does not count. The kids loved swinging on the swings and climbing trees. The only thing that would have made our adventure better is if we had brought the canoe with us!

Pontoon Boat Ride with Grandpa

Uncle Dan and Aunt Lai from The Villages took our family and our visitors (Grandpa and his crew) on a pontoon boat ride on February 5, 2010! We crossed a lake, went up a river, and got lifted in a lock to another river. We didn't catch any fish and only saw a ripple of an aligator, but nobody fell in, and we all enjoyed seeing nature in Florida!

Christmas, 2010

We love Christmas time and all of the traditions and festivities that come along with it....This year was no different, even though we were in a new location across the country. We decorated our tree, read from the Bible, opened pajamas, performed in our Christmas program, watched family home videos, and opened Christmas presents, to name a few. Our favorite part of the season was being together!

Mike and Denise Get Married

Michael and Denise got married on November 26, 2010, at the Eagle Moutain Golf Course. Mikayla was the flower girl, and Kyle was the ring bearer. Festivities following the ceremony included dinner, a slide show, dancing, and a reception in Mantua. The bride and groom were beautiful and happy!

Thanksgiving, 2010

We celebrated Thanksgiving in 2010 in Pleasant View, Utah, with the Loveless family! We found out two weeks prior to Thanksgiving that Uncle Michael was getting married to Denise. Luckily, tickets were affordable, and the five of us left Daddy to work and flew to Utah for both Thanksgiving and the wedding. Dinner was delicious, and the company was great! We had a few wrestling matches; the turkey bag broke, and the pipe under the kitchen sink sprang a leak. We all went home happy and full!
